Facing challenges such as space constraints and an ongoing construction project, the team doubled down on their efforts to ensure the room installation would be smooth and seamless. Their dedication and hard work paid off, resulting in a spectacular calming sensory room which will bring true sensory solace to students at BBCHS for years to come.
With this in mind, the staff of Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School (BBCHS) asked Fun and Function to create a teen-friendly sensory room that would help students with special needs de-escalate and manage difficult emotions.
