Two full sensory rooms, one calming and one active, has been a dream-come-true for this Illinois elementary school. In order to accommodate the maximum number of students possible, these rooms have been set up with sensory stations, so therapists can work one-on-one with students on skill building and reaching individual goals. 4th and 5th grade students enjoy the energy release they get through gross motor products such as sensory swings, climbing walls and gel hopscotch. The calming room allows them to recharge and self-regulate with relaxing seating, Color Column, Fiber Optic Infinity Tunnel and more.
