Why We Love It

Kids love creating music as they roll, crawl, walk and jump on the giant rainbow xylophone to receive satisfying auditory and proprioceptive feedback. The xylophone features musical notes and fun sound effects from the chromatic scale. Teachers and caregivers can control which sounds can be heard via the wall-mounted control panel.

  • A multisensory activity that can help teach cause and effect, sequencing and motor planning
  • Supports kids with sensory processing disorder or autism
  • Made by Fun and Function
  • All ages

Ideas for Use

  • Call out a series of colors and then jump on them in the correct sequence. Did you compose a new song?
  • Take big heavy steps or run across quickly and see how the music changes
  • Ask your caregiver to change the settings on the xylophone. What sounds do you hear now?

Part of our SensaSoft Collection, this collection is designed to stand up to frequent use and is easy to clean, making it a great addition to your sensory room, clinic or classroom.
